I'm Kristen, a Product UX/UI Designer from Los Angeles.

My experience spans both fast-moving startups and large enterprise organizations, in industries ranging from foodtech to healthcare.

What drives me is curiosity, a genuine desire to understand people, ask the right questions, and design solutions that actually fit their lives.

In a field shaped by AI and constant change, I've found that adaptability and judgement are the most valuable tools I bring to any team.

How I Work

Good design starts with curiosity, then clarity and collaboration, and ends with something that actually works.

01

Understand the Problem

I start by getting close to the problem before jumping to solutions. I talk to users, review business goals, and ask the questions that surface what's actually broken.

02

Use AI to Accelerate Alignment

Before wireframing, I'll use AI tools like Claude or Gemini to pressure-test assumptions, draft problem statements, and map edge cases. It helps me move faster and come to stakeholders with sharper thinking earlier in the process.

03

Explore and Validate

I prototype early and keep fidelity low until the direction earns higher investment. I run quick tests, research, do stakeholder walkthroughs and treat feedback as my guide.

04

Design for the Full Experience

Once the concept is validated, I bring it into Figma for full state coverage: empty states, errors, edge cases, responsive behavior.

05

Build and Iterate with the Team

I stay close to engineering through implementation, not just handoff.

06

Reflect

After shipping, I revisit and do a post-mortem. What worked, what changed, and document my learnings.
